The fourth season of Kimetsu no Yaiba is already in production

Currently airing is Kimetsu no Yaiba: Swordsmith Village Arc, the third season of the ambitious anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. With generally positive reviews towards Ufotable's work and the overall story, it seems that a popular leaker has decided to break the silence and reveal some information that may not come as a surprise to anyone.

This is how the popular leaker Oecuf shared an update, stating that the fourth season is already in production. However, we are still awaiting an official confirmation, which could possibly come when the final episode of this third season airs. "It's not groundbreaking news, but we can confirm that the next season is already in production," wrote the account.

Something worth noting is that, although the leak doesn't reveal much, it actually confirms that the next step in the project will once again be a television anime season, indicating that they are not aiming to adapt a complete arc into a movie like they did with Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Train.

As for the yet-to-be-confirmed fourth season, it would adapt the "Pillar Training Arc," which covers chapters 128 to 136 of the original manga. This short arc serves as a prelude to the final story arc, the "Final Battle Arc." Could it be that the fourth season will be the franchise's last?.
